Do I need to take cash?

There are no ATMs or banks in Tortuguero, so we highly recommend bringing enough cash for the duration of your stay.

Do I have buy the tickets to the Tortuguero National Park?

You will need a ticket to enter the National Park (though not to enter the Village!). Not all tours go into the National Park, so please check the details of each tour before purchasing. The ticket allows visiting the National Park for a full day, as many times as needed.
